HackPGH is Pittsburgh's first and oldest makerspace, completely independent and volunteer-run since 2009. We provide a safe location, equipment, and community where makers can collaborate, learn, and socialize.
Members pay a monthly fee to gain 24/7 access to the shop and equipment. We also have classes, clubs, and events that are open to the public. With eleven Shop Areas and a wide variety of tools, HackPGH is the perfect place to pursue your next creative project!
Public Tours are held every Monday and Saturday at 7:30PM! Walk-ins welcome, RSVPs preferred.
In addition to the numerous clubs, meetups, and other events we host, we also regularly host food and clothing drives, pop-up vaccine clinics, and other mutual aid initiatives! All are open to the general public. Check back in often, or join us!

You're officially a HackPGH member!
* Step 2 and 3 can be completed in any order.
** Your membership only becomes active after you complete orientation and receive your key fob. To avoid paying for unused days, we recommend scheduling your visit before signing up.

HackPGH is a volunteer-run non-profit that relies on the generosity of its members.
Members are required to:
- 1. Pay dues on time
- 2. Volunteer 2 hours per month
- 3. Follow the rules and regulations
